UNDERSTANDING A PILLAR OF ISLAM: ASR

Asr is a of the five obligatory acts of worship in Islam. It is performed in the afternoon, between the time of Zuhr prayer and before sunset. The Asr prayer consists of four units (rounds) and is an important opportunity for Muslims to connect with Allah through His forgiveness.
